Finalise your order and copy to your BMS
Learn how to copy your job to your BMS, place a parts order, and understand the difference between “Order Placed” and “Order Confirmed.”
There may be times where additional details or clarification are required before the job can proceed. To sync your current progress to the BMS Job:
Click “Sync to BMS” - Your parts will update to an “unordered” state in the BMS job
To finalise your the last step in the process will be to “Place order”.
Prior to this you have:
Created the job, selected the parts, uploaded required images and selected supply
To finalise your order:
- After clicking “Place Order”, The following pop up will appear with the input delivery date and time as well as any additional notes for the supplier.
- Click “Send” to request the parts from the selected supplier.
Order Placed:
After a jobs part order is sent the following will appear on the main job page.
It is important to note that an “Order placed” is NOT a confirmed order.
This state of the order is still awaiting for the supplier to confirm your order.
PO Population - Generated on “Order Placed”:
After a job’s part order is sent, the user has the ability to sync the orders and populate the “Purchase Order” with the applicable supplier.
IMPORTANT: Part orders are not “confirmed” at this stage. IF the supplier updates the delivery date or time to the order - A manual adjustment is required in the BMS.
Order Confirmed:
When the supplier has “CONFIRMED” the order, the status of the parts order will update.
In this view we can see “Order Confirmed” with an expected delivery date.
PO Population - Generated on “Order Confirmed”:
When a jobs part order is confirmed by the supplier the user has the ability to sync the orders and populate the “Purchase Order” with the applicable supplier.
IMPORTANT: Part orders at this stage are “confirmed”. The supplier has agreed to the delivery date and time of the order
