Fitment data, also known as parts or vehicle compatibility is the foundation of your parts catalog. PartsPal allows you to add and manage fitment data in the Partly Standard.

There are 4 methods to add fitment data to your parts. These are in increasing orders of difficulty.

  1. Accessing fitment data from Partly Database

  2. Cloning fitment data from equivalent OEM parts

  3. Adding fitment data manually yourself

  4. Data Acquisition service by Partly (by brand)

Method 1: Accessing fitment data from Partly Database

PartsPal will search Partly Database for a matching Catalog Part based on your product's part number and brand. If the matching part exists, it will automatically be linked with products - providing fitment data.

Once fitment data is added to your products, you will be able to view the compatible vehicle on a tab on the right.

To view the detailed vehicle definitions, you can select the Catalog Part panel by selecting the "Spanner" icon

The coverage of your products in Partly Database will vary depending on your region, brand list and part type. Get in touch with our sales team and we will help you check our coverage for your products.

You will need to know the equivalent OEM part number and brand for your part.

Method 4: Data Acquisition service by Partly (by brand)

Partly has a team of dedicated data coordinators that will be able to add vehicle compatibility to your parts.

If you are able to connect us with the brand supplier or manufacturer, our partnerships team will work on acquiring the data for you.

Alternatively, if you have an approved supplier or parent company's website or external source that has fitment data coverage, our data team will be able to add that data to your inventory.
