PartsPal's Shopify Integration provides vehicle filtering on your store, allowing your buyers to find the right part for their vehicle.

Step 1: Ensure that your Shopify contact email is the same as your PartsPal email

If the contact email is not the same as your PartsPal account, PartsPal will create a new account based on that email. You can view this page on Shopify Settings

Step 2: Install the PartsPal app

Select "Apps" on Shopify, and select the "Customize your Store" button. Search for the PartsPal app and install it.

Step 3: Verify your email

You will be then prompted to verify your email address. Click on Confirm Email in the same browser to link your Shopify account to PartsPal.

Step 4: Select your sync settings

Use PartsPal as my Inventory Manager

This is the best option If you want to use PartsPal as the source of truth for your catalog. You will be uploading products to PartsPal directly and updating pricing, images, descriptions, and other information through PartsPal. You will then publish your products from PartsPal to Shopify and other sales channels.

This sync setting is recommended for when you:

  • Have multiple sales channels (Shopify & eBay)

  • Want to manage your catalog on a dedicated platform

Use PartsPal for fitment systems

In these settings, PartsPal syncs your Shopify inventory over. You will make changes only on Shopify and use PartsPal only for fitment data.

This sync setting is recommended for when you:

  • Already have an existing inventory on Shopify, or are already live

  • Have a 3rd party ERP or Inventory management tool

  • Your products have variations
