PartsPal's integration with Shopify allows your customers to find the part that fits their vehicles. This article guides you to install the vehicle filtering snippets on your Shopify theme.
Introduction: PartsPal Filtering Snippets
This will only work with Shopify 2.0 theme. If you are using a Shopify 1.0 theme, you will have to add code snippets manually.
You will need PartsPal apps installed for the snippets to work.
Step 1: Enable PartsPal Configurations
Select "Customize" on the Shopify theme, then select "Theme Settings"
Select "App Embeds" and toggle the "PartsPal configurations" on. You will also be able to manage the general settings, including color, font size, and rego functionality here.
Step 2: Add vehicle selector to the Homepage
Select "Add section" and "Add Vehicle Selector".
You can insert this where you want on the page. Typically this is put below the header or main banner.
Note: Vehicle Config Selector is for customers that are using Config type fitment, typically in North America
Step 3: Add vehicle selector and PartsPal products to the Collection Page
Select the Collection page from the dropdown at the top of the page. You can then hide the default Shopify collection banner and product grid, and insert the PartsPal Vehicle Search and Products.
Step 4: Add vehicle selector and fitment checker to the Product page
Similarly, select the Product page from the dropdown at the top of the page. Insert the PartsPal Vehicle Search at the top of the page and the fitment checker below "price".
You can also add a part information table.
