How to link your products to Partly Catalog

Your products will need a part number and brand to be matched with the Partly Catalog.

  1. Linking Catalog Part manually
  2. Linking in bulk via CSV
  3. Linking with brand mapper

Method 1: Linking Catalog Part manually

If you have just a few items, it's easier to add the part number and brand through PartsPal. Select "Link Catalog Part" on the specifications or fitment tab, and enter your part number and brand.

If you can't find a part number or brand you want, it might not be in the Partly Catalog.

Method 2: Linking in bulk via CSV

If you have a larger inventory, you can add part numbers and brands in bulk via CSV.

Step 1: Export your products

Export your products through the "Export" button on the top right. You will have the option to export all your products or just Filtered products.

For example, you can filter by:

  • Catalog part not linked

  • Brand

  • Price

You will receive an email with a .csv download.

Step 2: Add your part number and brand to your spreadsheet

Open the CSV file downloaded and add the part number and brand to your spreadsheet.

Note that PartsPal adds a suffix to your SKUs if there are duplicates. For example in row 24, there's a "--kzxjy4" are the end of the SKU.

Ensure that the part numbers correspond with the right Partly Catalog part number.

Step 3: Upload your inventory changes

Go to Uploads

From your PartsPal dashboard, select the "Uploads" tab, then the Product Tab

Upload your file, and click import.

Method 3: Linking with Brand Mapper

If you have uploaded a CSV or pulled brand information from an eBay or Shopify integration, your product may still not be linked with a Catalog Part.

This may be because:
1. The brand does not exist in the Partly Catalogue

2. PartsPal was unable to match the brand automatically

If the brand does not exist in the Partly Catalogue

If you are a manufacturer or want to Private-label, you will have to reach out to Partly support to add your brand Partly Catalog.

If PartsPal was unable to match the brand automatically

You can use the Brand Mapper to correct any spelling errors, or match brands manually.

Select Bulk Data tab > Data Mappers > Brand Mapper
