How to Private-Label your parts

Sell parts under your private name or label in Partly Catalog

Private-labelling or white-labelling is the practice of a company producing a product that is then rebranded and sold by another company under its own name or label.

PartsPal allows you to create and manage your private-label brand

  1. Register the brand on PartsPal Catalog
  2. Create the parts for your brand
  3. Add part information and vehicle fitment

1. Register the brand on Partly Catalog

To register your private-label brand, you will have to contact support or your onboarding manager. Prior to doing so, please ensure that:

  • The brand name doesn't already exist on Partly Catalog
  • You have the rights to the brand name

2. Create the parts for your brand

Create your parts individually

If you don't have a product yet, select the "Create product" button on the top right

Create a part 1

Select "Create catalog part", and enter the part number, brand and part type.

You can use the product CSV template upload to create multiple parts at the same time.

The important fields for your CSV template to have are SKU, PartNumber, Brand, and PartType.

For products were synced before

If you synced or uploaded your brands before registering your brand, your parts will not be linked to a Catalog Part. You will see that the part number and brand column will stay empty even after registering your brand.

3. Add part information and vehicle fitment

The parts will not have any part information or vehicle fitment as you have just created them. You can then inherit fitment from a GCode by linking your part to a GCode or add part information and vehicle fitment.
