Tutorial on how to publish auto parts fitment data (vehicle compatibility) from PartsPal to eBay.
How it works
Publishing fitment to eBay will add fitment data from your PartsPal listing to your eBay listings. If you already have existing fitment on eBay, it will be replaced with Partly's fitment.
Note:
Chat with the Partly team if you do not want your existing fitment to be overwritten. (i.e. you only want to add fitment data to listings without any).
How to publish fitment
Select the "Publish fitment to eBay" button on the top right of the page.
There will be a pop-up module with some options:
1. Fitment publish selection
You have the option to publish all your products, or just selected or filtered products.
- To publish "selected", use the checkbox to tick the desired products
- To publish "filtered", use the dropdown filter. For example, you may want to publish just a particular brand, part type, or just "universal" products.
2. Overriding fitments even if a product has none on PartsPal
If your eBay listing has fitment, but PartsPal does not, PartsPal will not override your eBay listings' fitment.
If you want to remove your current eBay data, you can select this option.
3. Also update information on specifics
This option will replace eBay item specifics with PartsPal items specifics such as UPC or EAN. Similar to fitment data, if your PartsPal listing does not have item specifics data, it will override your existing eBay listings with nothing.
