Repair App Updates - 15 September 2025

The latest improvements we've made to the Repair app based on your valuable feedback

Thanks to your feedback and our first-class engineering team, Partly is excited to share a few enhancements being rolled out this week. 

    Estimation Splash Page

    • We have built a new splash page that presents the regions of a vehicle more clearly. You'll see this when you open the Estimation tab, It's sure to speed up your estimation process.

    Diagram Breakdown

    • Once you've selected a section from the above splash page you will see the improved diagram breakdown. This will make finding the correct diagrams much easier.
    • These sections have replaced the categories that you previously had to select using the left hand drop-down menu.


    Diagram Highlight Boxes

    • We have added these new 'Highlight boxes' which will appear around the selected part and help prevent any accidental part mis-selections. 


    Improved "Next Diagram" Flow

    • We have also changed the diagram navigation, now you'll see a horizontal carousel below your diagram, here you can select the next diagram you want to view.
    • Previously this was the "Next" or "Last" diagram button in the upper right corner.

    New Feature! Inline Image Viewing

    • Ever been looking through the diagrams and wanted to quickly double check the vehicle images? Now you can do that directly in any tab within the Repair App!
    • Simply click the highlight-icon icon in the upper right hand corner and you'll be able to see the jobs images.
    • A flyout will come out from the right hand side showing your images, you can scroll down this list.

     

    Redesigned Parts List

    • The floating parts list at the bottom of the estimation tab has now been replaced with a flyout.
    • To view and review your parts list select "View List" in the bottom right hand corner.

    • When selected you'll see the new Parts list. Here you can review all of your selected parts and even add new parts using the updated search bar. 
    • When you're ready to continue to the Summary just click the blue button in the bottom right corner. 

    New Feature! Adding parts to your parts list.

    • While in the new parts list you can add parts using the new entry bar.
    • You can add any parts here, even if they aren't matched the the Partly Standard. You can then select "Map to verified part" to see if it does exist in our database. If it does not you can simply select "ask supplier to confirm"
    • Useful for any outlier components you may find, or additional supplier request.

     

    We’re not done! Further improvements in the pipeline.
