Latest improvements we've made to the Repair app based on your valuable feedback

We’ve heard your feedback and the team here at Partly would like to share details of a few enhancements that will be released this week, thanks to your valuable input. 

    Diagrams in logical groupings for all Vehicle Makes 

    • Diagrams are shown in logical groupings that are consistent across vehicle Makes. Since every vehicle Make presents and separates diagrams in its own way, c using standardised groupings makes it easier for you to learn, and makes it faster for you to find the diagram you need.

    Direct integration with IAG ORM job feed. 

    • Reduces the time you have to wait to complete diagram jobs in the Repair App by ~2 hours.

    Using the Part Search to enter the exact part you need for the job 

    • Repairers currently use the part search feature in various ways, either to search for a diagram or to add a part for suppliers when doing a text-based estimate. This enhanced part search function shows improved ranking of the part results, allowing you to enter the exact part needed from the supplier, much like how you specify parts in iBodyshop estimates, rather than relying on partial or general search results.

    New Feature! “Ask the Supplier” feature for assistance with part variants. 

    • Sometimes there are part variants that cannot be resolved from parts catalogue data alone; this also requires additional context about the physical vehicle & part. Even if the right information has been provided to make a decision, you may still not feel confident making a choice. The “Ask the Supplier” feature enables you to easily ask the supplier to help choose the correct variant.

    More on the way in the next 2 weeks. 

    • Continued improvements to sidebar speed and reliability, including bulk sync. Enabling you to start your estimate in Partly.
    • Chat with the Partly Helpdesk team directly in the Repair App. Support is now just a message away. 
    • Add part-level notes between you and the supplier. Keep communication clear and specific. 
    • Get clearer supplier insights. Repairer feedback gives you more control in choosing who you work with. 
    • Smarter supplier requests. We’ll make it easy for you to send structured, high-quality requests and automate responses when supply confidence is high. From September, you will also have the ability to automate offer requests to high-confidence suppliers.
       

    We’re not done! Further improvements in the pipeline. 

    We’re continuously refining the Repair App based on your feedback. From smoother estimating to smarter part sourcing, there’s more on the way, including clearer job states, improved part search, capturing reasoning for your assessors, and new supply features!
