Supply Selection - Features

Review complete baskets, explore part-by-part supply options, and send offer requests for unavailable stock. Easily compare suppliers, delivery details, and pricing before placing your order.

The following view is identified as the “Supply Selection” page.

At a glance users can:

  • Complete Baskets (1)

  • Offer Requests (2)

  • Parts / Part Draws (3)

  • Place Order (4)


Supplier Card: Only visible if ALL parts can be fulfilled

“Complete Baskets” by a single supplier will ONLY appear if a supplier is capable of fulfilling all parts for the order.


“Partial Stock” will be present in the part draw. If a supplier has some stock available for parts this will appear in the “Part Draw”.

For every job IF there is a supplier who can provide ALL necessary parts then they will appear at the top of the page as shown here.

 

At a glance users can view: 

Complete Baskets supplied for 3 parts from “Brown Auto” or “Thorn Auto”

You may sometimes find there are jobs that do not contain any complete baskets.

 

This DOES NOT MEAN no supply. Supply for these parts will be shown in each of the respective “part draws” where applicable.

Although there are no “Complete Baskets” as shown in the previous slide. 

In the “Parts” list you will see supply options within each part draw if available.

 

For parts without supply (Grille):

Some parts may not possess any supply as depicted for the “Grille”. 

Instead the user can action an “offer request” to resolve missing stock.

Some jobs will require “Offer Requests” to be able to fulfill jobs where no stock is presented by any supplier.


To action an “Offer Request”:

Click the “Add supplier” option

The following pop-up will appear displaying the required fields for completing a “offer request”

The user has the ability to select multiple suppliers and add any additional notes for clarification in their request.

A request will be sent to the selected suppliers for the whole basket.

Additionally the user can add a note for clarity - As the “Grille” had no supply present, a request for confirmation on this part has been added.

 

To send the request to the suppliers simply click “Send”

When a request has been sent the following cards will appear.

 

At a glance users can view: 

Which suppliers the offer requests were sent to and the elapsed time since waiting for the response.

When a request has been returned, the supplier card will update and the stock will update within the required part draws.

 

The offer request response:

Contains a price, part conditioning, arrival estimation and part count.

For parts without supply (Grille):

As visible below the “Grille” did not possess any available suppliers.

 

To resolve this the user sent a “Offer Request” to applicable suppliers.

For parts without supply (Grille):

After an offer request has been responded to, if the supplier can supply stock then the corresponding part draw will update as shown below

Featured in the lower section of the supply page is the “Parts Draw”

Each part draw displays the following information:
Part name, selected supplier, delivery date, cost and alternative supplier options.
