Sync modes

Partly PIM’s Sync modes unlock the ability to publish newly created products and product details directly to eBay. This allows you to use Partly as the source of truth for your eBay listings.

Replica: In Replica mode, Partly PIM will automatically replicate the listings in your eBay store by copying new product listings. You have the option to publish fitment and catalogue information to eBay, but please note that product details cannot be published.
Primary (New): With Primary mode, you have the ability to create fresh listings in Partly PIM and effortlessly publish them to eBay. By enabling Automatic publish, your eBay listings will be automatically updated with the latest product details.

This means any updates you make to the product in Partly PIM, for example title or price, will automatically update to your eBay store listing:
Manual (New): In Manual mode, you also have the option to create new listings in Partly PIM and manually publish them to eBay.

As the name implies, you can manually publish product details and fitment using the Publish button on the product page:

Navigate to Settings: Log in to your Partly PIM account and go to the "Settings" section.
Access Sales Channels: Within the Settings menu, click on "Sales Channels."
Edit Sync Mode: Find the "Sync Mode" section and click on "Edit."
Choose Your Mode: A dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to select your desired Sync Mode—whether it's "Replica," "Primary," or "Manual."
Save Changes: After selecting your preferred Sync Mode, click "Save" to apply the changes.

If you currently have products published to eBay, you will find that your Sync Mode is set to "Replica."
If you choose to switch from "Replica" to "Primary," please note that all existing products will have their "Automatic Publish" switches turned off. You will need to manually enable these switches:
When using Primary mode, you will need to continue publishing fitment information manually, which can be done efficiently in bulk via the Publish button:

This will open up a pop up with a few options to publish
- selected products
- products that have been filtered based on the product page filter options
- all products in your Partly PIM
