Tablet/Ipad Guide - Workflow

This guide walks you through the workflow for using Partly on a tablet or iPad.

 

Recommended workflow:

A typical Supply page workflow is:

  1. Using your main computer, start the job you need to estimate using the Sidebar or your standard workflow

  2. Open the Chrome app on your tablet and navigate to Repair.Partly.Com

    1. Login to Partly using your standard credentials. We recommend you make use of your devices "Save Password" feature to make this easier next time.

  3. Use the search bar at the top of the jobs dashboard to find the job you want to work on. You can search by Job number, Registration, VIN or claim number.

  4. When the customer and vehicle are ready for inspection, take your tablet with you to the estimation bay.

  5. Follow your usual estimation process.
    1. On the tablet, use the estimation tab to start building out your parts list as you usually would on a computer.
  6. While with the customer, check for live offers and instant availability to confirm a booking date. 
    1. If there aren't any instant offers, send off requests now if you want.
  7. Back at your workstation, navigate to the job in your BMS and sync the parts/order details over. Complete the order as per usual.

Note: Sync functionality is not currently available on iPad or Tablet.
