Adding Additional Parts to an Existing Order - New Flow
This guide explains how to add parts after an order has already been placed using the new flow.
"Old Flow" and "New Flow"
After our recent updates, the order updating process looks a little different depending on when the job was started:
-
The process for updating an existing order is different between the two, so it is critical that you understand which flow you're in for a given job.
-
New Flow: This is the updated experience for all jobs created after the recent updates. You’ll see order status icons beside each part, and the Summary tab separates ordered parts from new ones.
-
Old Flow: This only applies to jobs that were created before the updates. In these jobs, the parts list does not show order status. These older jobs will gradually disappear as they are completed, so over time only the New Flow will remain.
How to Know You’re in the New Flow
-
The parts list shows order status icons beside each part.
Add New Parts
-
Add your supplementary parts to the job using the standard methods.
-
They will appear in the parts list without a status.
Note: Do not delete prior parts from your parts list.
Review in Summary Tab
-
Go to the Summary tab.
-
New parts will be listed with the previously ordered parts, but with no ordered status.
- Select relevant images to the new parts and continue to the Supply Tab.
Move to the Supply Tab

If you scroll down you can see the previously ordered parts and your new additional components, separated into Parts and Ordered parts.
How to Reorder prior parts.
-
If you wish to reorder a part from your previous order list, you can do this in addition to ordering new components, or you can do a simple reorder on its own by skipping to this step.
-
Click Select beside the your Ordered parts list.
-
- Choose Reorder, this will add these parts to your new supplementary order.
Choose Suppliers
-
If an Instant Basket is available, click Select on your preferred supplier.

Otherwise: Select Add More Suppliers and select all the suppliers you want to send an offer to.
If you have followed this process only your new parts (or selected reordered parts) will be sent to the supplier.
Sync to BMS

After selecting your suppliers but before placing the order, click Sync to BMS.
Place the Order
-

The new parts order, showing status “Order placed”.

From the Home tab, click Sync to BMS.
-
Your new parts will now appear in your BMS.
